The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The fingers are all equal. For each of them, the compensation is ten camels."
حدثنا جميل بن الحسن العتكي حدثنا عبد الأعلى حدثنا سعيد عن مطر
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال الأصابع سواء كلهن فيهن عشر عشر من الإبل
[Sahih] Bayhaqi (8/89, 92) narrated it from the hadith of Saeed, from Matar Warraq, with this wording, at length, and Husayn Muallim followed him in narrating it (Abu Dawud, no. 4562, and its isnad is hasan), and Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 781. The hadith has very many corroborating narrations, among them what Tirmidhi narrated, no. 1391, and Ibn Jarud, no. 780, from the hadith of Ibn Abbas, with a similar meaning, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih, and Busiri graded the route of Ibn Majah hasan.
