The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is approached over his property and is fought, then fights back and is killed, is a martyr."
حدثنا الخليل بن عمرو حدثنا مروان بن معاوية حدثنا يزيد بن سنان الجزري عن ميمون بن مهران
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أتي عند ماله فقوتل فقاتل فقتل فهو شهيد
[Sahih] Ibn Adi related it, 7/2726, from the hadith of Shubah, from Abu Farwa Yazid bin Sinan, in this manner, and he said, "This is a sound hadith." Busiri graded it daif because of Yazid bin Sinan, and he was correct, but the preceding hadith corroborates it, and with that the hadith becomes sahih.
