The Prophet ﷺ heard some voices and asked, "What is this sound?"They replied, "It is the date palms. The people are pollinating them."He said, "If they did not do that, the trees would still be fine."So they did not pollinate them that year, and the dates came out poor and shriveled. They mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "If it concerns matters of your worldly life, then you know best about it. But if it concerns matters of your religion, then refer it to me."
