Hasan. Ahmad narrated it, 3/302, from Waki with this chain, and Busiri graded it sahih. Thawri narrated it with "an." The hadith of Abu Awana from al-Aswad serves as a corroborating witness for it, found in Ahmad (3/397, 398, no. 15355). The hadith of Shuba in Mustadrak (4/281) contradicts it. And Allah knows best.
