[Its isnad is daif] Daraqutni transmitted it, 3/31, through the route of Ziyad bin Saad, from Zuhri, with this wording, at length. Its isnad is daif due to defects, yet Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (Mawarid), hadith 1123, as did Hakim, 2/51, and Dhahabi, while Daraqutni graded it hasan. Malik related it in Muwatta, 22/728, from Zuhri, from Ibn Musayab, with this wording, as a mursal report. It has very many corroborating reports, none of which is sahih.
