A man came demanding from the Prophet of Allah ﷺ a debt or a right that was owed to him, and he spoke some harsh words. The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were about to deal with him, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave him be. The one who is owed a debt has authority over his debtor until it is paid."
