Umar bin Khattab said, "Messenger of Allah, the hundred shares I have at Khaybar are the most beloved property I have ever acquired, and I wish to give them in charity."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Hold the principal and dedicate its fruits."Ibn Abu Umar said, I found this hadith in another place in my book, from Sufyan, from Abdullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said, Umar said, and he mentioned something similar.
حدثنا محمد بن أبي عمر العدني حدثنا سفيان عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
قال عمر بن الخطاب يا رسول الله إن المائة سهم التي بخيبر لم أصب مالا قط هو أحب إلي منها وقد أردت أن أتصدق بها فقال النبي ﷺ احبس أصلها وسبل ثمرها قال ابن أبي عمر فوجدت هذا الحديث في موضع آخر في كتابي عن سفيان عن عبد الله عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال قال عمر فذكر نحوه

In the first route, Sufyan was corroborated by Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi and others, and the chain that follows serves as a supporting witness for it.Takhrij: (B) [Sahih] Narrated by Ahmad, 2/114, 156, 157, through two other routes from Abdullah bin Umar Umari, with this wording, and its chain of transmission is strong.
