Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If any man sells goods and then finds his very goods in the possession of someone who has gone bankrupt, and he has received nothing of their price, then they belong to him. But if he has received some of their price, then he stands on equal footing with the other creditors."
