The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden beam into his wall."
حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرني ابن لهيعة عن أبي الأسود عن عكرمة
أن النبي ﷺ قال لا يمنع أحدكم جاره أن يغرز خشبة على جداره
Sourcing, [sahih]. Ahmad narrated it, 1/255, from the hadith of Ibn Lahia with this wording. I did not find an explicit statement on this, and Busiri graded it daif, but Ayub and others narrated it from Ikrima with this wording, and it has corroborating narrations in Bukhari and others.
