Two brothers from the Banu Mughira were in dispute, one of them had vowed not to allow the other to fix a wooden beam into his wall.Then Majma bin Yazid came along with many men from the Ansar, and they said, "We bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'None of you should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden beam into his wall.'"So he said, "My brother, judgment has been given against me, and I have already taken an oath. Place pillars next to my wall and rest your beams upon them."

أن أخوين من بلمغيرة أعتق أحدهما أن لا يغرز خشبا في جداره فأقبل مجمع بن يزيد ورجال كثير من الأنصار فقالوا نشهد أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يمنع أحدكم جاره أن يغرز خشبة في جداره فقال يا أخي إنك مقضي لك علي وقد حلفت فاجعل أسطوانا دون حائطي أو جداري فاجعل عليه خشبك
