The Prophet ﷺ was at the house of one of the Mothers of the Believers when another sent over a bowl containing food. The first wife struck the messenger's hand, causing the bowl to fall and break. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ picked up the two broken pieces, fitted one to the other, and began gathering the food back into it, saying, "Your mother became jealous. Eat."So they ate. Then her own bowl from her house was brought, and he handed the intact bowl to the messenger and left the broken one in the house of the wife who had broken it.
