The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of swearing oaths in selling, for it may help the goods sell, but it wipes out the blessing."
حدثنا يحيى بن خلف حدثنا عبد الأعلى ح و حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا إسمعيل بن عياش قالا حدثنا محمد بن إسحق عن معبد بن كعب بن مالك
قال رسول الله ﷺ إياكم والحلف في البيع فإنه ينفق ثم يمحق
[Sahih] Ahmad reported it (5/297, 298) from the hadith of Ibn Ishaq through the same chain, and he stated explicitly that he heard it directly. It has another route in Muslim, no. 1607, and others, from Mabad bin Kaab through the same chain.
