Qaila reported,

I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during one of his Umrahs at Marwa and said, "Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who buys and sells. When I want to buy something, I name a price lower than what I am willing to pay, then I keep raising it until I reach the price I intended. And when I want to sell something, I name a price higher than what I am willing to accept, then I keep lowering it until I reach the price I intended."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not do that, Qaila. When you want to buy something, name the price you actually intend, whether you end up getting it or not. And when you want to sell something, name the price you actually intend, whether you end up selling it or not."

عن قيلة أم بني أنمار قالت

أتيت رسول الله ﷺ في بعض عمره عند المروة فقلت يا رسول الله إني امرأة أبيع وأشتري فإذا أردت أن أبتاع الشيء سمت به أقل مما أريد ثم زدت ثم زدت حتى أبلغ الذي أريد وإذا أردت أن أبيع الشيء سمت به أكثر من الذي أريد ثم وضعت حتى أبلغ الذي أريد فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تفعلي يا قيلة إذا أردت أن تبتاعي شيئا فاستامي به الذي تريدين أعطيت أو منعت وإذا أردت أن تبيعي شيئا فاستامي به الذي تريدين أعطيت أو منعت
