The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah laughs at three. At the row in prayer, at the man who prays in the depths of the night, and at the man who fights." I think he said, "behind the battalion."

[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it, 3/80, from the hadith of Mujalid, through the same chain. Mujalid's status was mentioned previously, hadith no. 11, and his student is unknown (Taqrib). Part of the hadith has a daif corroborating narration in Bazzar.
