The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person in the state of ihram must not marry, nor give in marriage, nor propose marriage."
حدثنا محمد بن الصباح حدثنا عبد الله بن رجاء المكي عن مالك بن أنس عن نافع عن نبيه بن وهب
قال رسول الله ﷺ المحرم لا ينكح ولا ينكح ولا يخطب
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on marriage, in the section on the prohibition of a person in the state of ihram marrying and the disapproval of his proposing marriage, no. 1409, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain.
