Ali bin Abu Talib reported,
Abbas 
asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to pay his charity before it became due, and he granted him permission to do so.

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Recorded by Abu Dawud in the Book of Zakat, Chapter on Paying Zakat in Advance, hadith no. 1624, from Saeed bin Mansur through this route. Hakim graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed.Hakam bin Utayba narrated it using "an" (indicating a possibly broken link), as mentioned previously, hadith no. 1192, and it has corroborating narrations, all of which are daif.
