The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you have paid the zakat on your wealth, you have fulfilled your obligation."
Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Zakat, in the chapter "What has been said about, when you have paid your zakat, you have discharged your obligation," hadith no. 618, from the hadith of Amr, with the same wording, and he said, "Hasan, rare." Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 2471, as did Ibn Hibban (Mawarid), hadith no. 797, and Hakim, 1/390, with whom Dhahabi agreed.Darraj is truthful, though there is some weakness in his narration from Abu Haytham (Taqrib), while his hadith is hasan when narrated from someone other than Abu Haytham. Ibn Hibban and others added, "Whoever gathers unlawful wealth and then gives it in charity will have no reward for it, and its sin will remain upon him."
