The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break their fast will have a reward equal to theirs, without anything being diminished from their reward."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ليلى وخالي يعلى عن عبد الملك وأبو معاوية عن حجاج كلهم عن عطاء
قال رسول الله ﷺ من فطر صائما كان له مثل أجرهم من غير أن ينقص من أجورهم شيئا
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Fasting, chapter on the virtue of one who provides food for a fasting person to break his fast, no. 807, from the hadith of Abdul-Malik bin Abu Sulayman with this wording, and he said, hasan sahih. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 2064, as did Ibn Hibban (Mawarid), no. 895.
