The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Some people from my nation will recite the Quran, yet they will pass out of Islam just as an arrow passes through its target."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وسويد بن سعيد قالا حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليقرأن القرآن ناس من أمتي يمرقون من الإسلام كما يمرق السهم من الرمية
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it in his Musnad, 1/56, from the hadith of Simak through him. The chain of transmission from Simak through Ikrima is sahih, but the hadith itself is daif.
