The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not give up false speech, ignorant conduct, and acting upon them, Allah has no need for him to give up his food and drink."
حدثنا عمرو بن رافع حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك عن ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد المقبري عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ من لم يدع قول الزور والجهل والعمل به فلا حاجة لله في أن يدع طعامه وشرابه
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Fasting, chapter on one who does not abandon false speech and acting upon it while fasting, hadith no. 1903, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Dhib, through the same chain.
