We used to menstruate during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and he would command us to make up the fasts.
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن عبيدة عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
كنا نحيض عند النبي ﷺ فيأمرنا بقضاء الصوم
[Hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Fasting, in the chapter on what has been said about a menstruating woman making up the fast but not the prayer, hadith no. 787, from the hadith of Ubayda, with this wording, and he said, hasan, hadith no. 1157. Ubayda is Ibn Mutab Dabbi Kufi, whose status has already been discussed.
