The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The month is like this, and this, and this," holding up his fingers to indicate twenty-nine on the third time.
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا محمد بن بشر عن إسمعيل بن أبي خالد
قال رسول الله ﷺ الشهر هكذا وهكذا وهكذا وعقد تسعا وعشرين في الثالثة
Muslim reported it in the Book of Fasting, chapter on the month being twenty-nine days, no. 1086, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Bishr, through this same chain.
