The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among your most excellent days is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it the Trumpet will be blown, and on it all creation will be struck down. So send abundant blessings upon me on this day, for your blessings are presented to me."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, how can our blessings be presented to you when your body has decayed?"He replied, "Allah has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا الحسين بن علي عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر عن أبي الأشعث الصنعاني
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة فيه خلق آدم وفيه النفخة وفيه الصعقة فأكثروا علي من الصلاة فيه فإن صلاتكم معروضة علي فقال رجل يا رسول الله كيف تعرض صلاتنا عليك وقد أرمت يعني بليت قال إن الله حرم على الأرض أن تأكل أجساد الأنبياء
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on the Merit of Friday and the Night of Friday, hadith 1047, from the hadith of Husayn bin Ali, and see hadith 1085 for the flaw that invalidates it. Despite this, several scholars, such as Ibn Hibban and others, graded it sahih.
