The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wailing over the dead is a practice of the days of ignorance. If a wailing woman dies without repenting, Allah will cut for her garments of tar and a shirt of flaming fire."

قال رسول الله ﷺ النياحة من أمر الجاهلية وإن النائحة إذا ماتت ولم تتب قطع الله لها ثيابا من قطران ودرعا من لهب النار
Grading, hasan. Busiri said, its chain of transmission is sahih, and its narrators are trustworthy. Abdul-Razzaq, no. 6686. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Muslim, no. 934, and elsewhere. It is found in Musannaf
