The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that the iron and leather be removed from those killed at Uhud, and that they be buried in their clothes with their blood still on them.
حدثنا محمد بن زياد حدثنا علي بن عاصم عن عطاء بن السائب عن سعيد بن جبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ أمر بقتلى أحد أن ينزع عنهم الحديد والجلود وأن يدفنوا في ثيابهم بدمائهم
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it, in the Book of Funerals, Chapter on the Martyr Being Washed, hadith 3134, from the hadith of Ali bin Asim, through him. Ataa's memory became confused, as mentioned previously at hadith 703, and Ali bin Asim has been criticized by scholars.
