[Sahih]Busiri said, "Its chain of transmission is sahih, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahihayn." Amash used an, an-form transmission, as noted previously in hadith 178. It was narrated by Hajjaj bin Nasir, who is daif and used to accept talqin (as noted in Taqrib), from Shubah, from Amash, with this wording, in Hilyat Awliya, 7/208. It has another chain of transmission, daif, found in Abu Naeem's version, 7/228, from Saad, from Abu Hurairah, with this wording.Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir, and the author of al-Hilyah narrated it through his route, 8/391, from the hadith of Ibn Umar, with this wording. In it is Mubashshir bin Abu Malih, whom Bukhari mentioned in Tarikh al-Kabir, saying, "Shubah narrated from him, and he is counted among the Basrans, and Shubah only narrates from someone he considers reliable" (introduction of Lisan Mizan). It has a corroborating witness in Muslim's Sahih, hadith 947, and by this the hadith is confirmed as sahih.
