The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah looks down on the night of the middle of Shaban and forgives all His creation, except for a polytheist or one harboring enmity."Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated to us, Abu Aswad Nadr bin Abdul-Jabbar narrated to us, Ibn Lahiah narrated to us from Zubayr bin Sulaym, from Dahak bin Abdul-Rahman, from his father, who said, I heard Abu Musa report something similar from the Prophet ﷺ.

Sources. [Its isnad is daif. Ibn Abu Asim narrated it in al-Sunnah, no. 510, from the hadith of Abu Aswad, with the same wording, but containing a scribal error. Busiri said, "Its isnad is daif due to the weakness of Abdullah bin Lahia, the concealment practiced by Walid bin Maryam, and Dahhak bin Ayman being unknown (per Taqrib)." It also has another defect, Zubayr bin Sulaym and Abdul-Rahman bin Arzab both being unknown (per Taqrib). The hadith has other routes narrated from Muaz, Abu Thalaba, Abdullah bin Amr, Abu Hurairah, Abu Bakr, Awf bin Malik, and Ayesha, but none of them is sahih.]
