The Prophet ﷺ used to pray thirteen rakahs during the night.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
كان النبي ﷺ يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة
Reported by Muslim, Prayer of the Traveler, chapter on night prayer and the number of units the Prophet ﷺ performed at night, etc., hadith no. 737, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, with this wording.
