A second chain. Abdul-Rahman bin Ibrahim al-Dimashqi narrated to us. Walid narrated to us. Uzai narrated to us, from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Ayesha. This is the wording of Abu Bakr's narration. She said, "Between finishing the Isha prayer and the dawn, the Prophet ﷺ used to pray eleven units of prayer. He would give the closing salutation after every two units, and pray a single unit as witr. In each prostration he would remain so long that one of you could recite fifty verses before he raised his head. Then when the muezzin fell silent after the first call to the dawn prayer, he would rise and pray two brief units."

ح و حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم الدمشقي حدثنا الوليد حدثنا الأوزاعي عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة وهذا حديث أبي بكر قالت كان النبي ﷺ يصلي ما بين أن يفرغ من صلاة العشاء إلى الفجر إحدى عشرة ركعة يسلم في كل اثنتين ويوتر بواحدة ويسجد فيهن سجدة بقدر ما يقرأ أحدكم خمسين آية قبل أن يرفع رأسه فإذا سكت المؤذن من الأذان الأول من صلاة الصبح قام فركع ركعتين خفيفتين
[Sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in "Voluntary Prayers," chapter "On the Night Prayer," no. 1336, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ibrahim and others, with the same wording. Muslim narrated it in "The Prayer of Travelers," chapter "The Night Prayer and the Number of Its Units," etc., no. 736, from the hadith of Zuhri, with the same wording.Zuhri explicitly stated that he heard it, according to Ibn Habban ﷺ and others, concerning the night prayer.Busiri said, "This isnad is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy."
