Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered both his parents for me on the day of Uhud, saying, "Shoot, Saad! May my father and mother be your ransom!"

سعد بن أبي وقاص يقول
لقد جمع لي رسول الله ﷺ يوم أحد أبويه فقال ارم سعد فداك أبي وأمي

Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on military expeditions, in the chapter "When two groups among you were about to lose heart" etc., hadith 4057, and Muslim narrated it in the chapters on the virtues of the companions, in the chapter on the virtue of Saad bin Abu Waqqas , hadith 2412, from the hadith of Yahya, through this same chain.
