The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone. So when you see that, stand up and pray."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا إسمعيل بن أبي خالد عن قيس بن أبي حازم
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الشمس والقمر لا ينكسفان لموت أحد من الناس فإذا رأيتموه فقوموا فصلوا
Bukhari narrated it, Eclipses, chapter on the prayer during a solar eclipse, no. 1041, 3204, and Muslim, Eclipses, chapter on mentioning the call announcing the eclipse prayer with "the prayer, come together," no. 911, from the hadith of Ismail, with the same chain.
