The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever catches one rakah of the Friday prayer should add another rakah to it."
حدثنا محمد بن الصباح أنبأنا عمر بن حبيب عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة وسعيد بن المسيب
أن النبي ﷺ قال من أدرك من الجمعة ركعة فليصل إليها أخرى
Grading, [sahih]Busiri said, "This isnad is daif. Umar bin Habib's weakness has been agreed upon."The hadith has a corroborating witness in Daraqutni (12/2, no. 1592), and its isnad is hasan li-dhatihi.Bayhaqi (3/204) and others narrated with a sahih isnad from Ibn Umar, who said, "Whoever catches a rakat of Jumuah has caught it, except that he must make up what he missed."
