The Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the report of the Overwhelming Event?"
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن سعيد بن سنان عن أبي الزاهرية
أن النبي ﷺ كان يقرأ في الجمعة بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى وهل أتاك حديث الغاشية
[Sahih] * Walid used an "an" formula, mentioned earlier at hadith 255, and it has a sahih corroborating narration in Muslim, Jumuah, chapter on what is recited in the Friday prayer, no. 878, and elsewhere.
