The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is good and sufficient, fulfilling the obligation. But whoever takes a full bath, the bath is better."
Its chain is daif, see number 1080 for its defect. Busiri said, "This is a daif chain..." The hadith of Abu Dawud, number 354, suffices in its place, and it is a hasan hadith. Tirmidhi and Baghawi graded it hasan, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih. Its wording in Abu Dawud is, "Whoever performs wudu with it, well and good, and whoever performs ghusl with it, that is better."
