The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and said, "People, turn to Allah in repentance before you die. Hasten to righteous deeds before you become preoccupied. Strengthen the bond between yourselves and your Lord by remembering Him often and giving charity abundantly, both in secret and openly, and you will be provided for, aided, and made strong. Know that Allah has made the Friday prayer obligatory upon you, from this place where I stand, on this day of mine, in this month of mine, from this year of mine, until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever abandons it during my lifetime or after me, while having a leader, whether just or tyrannical, abandoning it out of disregard or denial of its obligation, Allah will not unite his affairs nor bless him in his matters. Indeed, he has no prayer, no zakat, no Hajj, no fasting, and no good deeds accepted from him until he repents. Whoever repents, Allah will accept his repentance. A woman must not lead a man in prayer, an Arabi must not lead an emigrant, and a sinner must not lead a believer, unless the latter is forced to submit by an authority whose sword and whip he fears."

Its chain of transmission is very daif. Bayhaqi reported it in 2/171, 90 through Walid bin Bukayr, from him. Busiri said, "This chain is daif due to the weakness of Ali bin Zayd bin Jadan," as mentioned earlier under hadith 116, "and Abdullah bin Muhammad Adawi." This Adawi is discarded, Waki accused him of fabrication (Taqrib), and Walid is lenient in transmission (also from Taqrib).
