The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nothing stands between a servant and polytheism except abandoning the prayer. When he abandons it, he has committed shirk."

عن النبي ﷺ قال ليس بين العبد والشرك إلا ترك الصلاة فإذا تركها فقد أشرك
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Busiri said, This chain of transmission is daif due to the weakness of Yazid bin Aban Raqashi, who is an ascetic but weak (Taqrib), and it has another flaw that undermines it.
