The Prophet ﷺ performed the prayer on the Day of Sacrifice, then delivered the sermon, then slaughtered his sacrifice. He said, "Whoever slaughtered before performing the prayer, let him slaughter another in its place, and whoever has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."
حدثنا مسلم قال حدثنا شعبة عن الأسود
صلى النبي ﷺ يوم النحر ثم خطب ثم ذبح فقال من ذبح قبل أن يصلي فليذبح أخرى مكانها ومن لم يذبح فليذبح باسم الله
