Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer on the Day of Sacrifice, then delivered a sermon in which he ordered anyone who had slaughtered before the prayer to repeat his slaughter.A man from the Ansar stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have neighbors who are in need," (the narrator was uncertain whether he said "in hardship" or "in poverty"), "and I slaughtered before the prayer. I have a young she-goat which is dearer to me than two sheep of meat."So he granted him permission to use it.
