When you say, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," do not say, "Come to prayer." Say instead, "Pray in your homes."The people seemed to find this objectionable, so he said, "One who is better than I did this. Friday prayer is an obligation, but I disliked causing you hardship by making you walk through mud and slippery ground."
