Tawus said, I said to Ibn Abbas, "They mention that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Bathe on Friday and wash your heads even if you are not in a state of major impurity, and apply some perfume.'"Ibn Abbas replied, "As for the bathing, yes. As for the perfume, I do not know about that."
حدثنا أبو اليمان قال أخبرنا شعيب
طاوس قلت لابن عباس ذكروا أن النبي ﷺ قال اغتسلوا يوم الجمعة واغسلوا رءوسكم وإن لم تكونوا جنبا وأصيبوا من الطيب قال ابن عباس أما الغسل فنعم وأما الطيب فلا أدري
