The Prophet ﷺ said, "No man bathes on Friday, purifies himself as thoroughly as he can, applies oil from his own oil or touches some of the perfume of his house, then goes out and does not push between two people, then prays whatever has been prescribed for him, then listens attentively when the imam speaks, except that he will be forgiven for whatever sins he committed between that Friday and the next."
حدثنا آدم قال حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد المقبري قال أخبرني أبي عن ابن وديعة
قال النبي ﷺ لا يغتسل رجل يوم الجمعة ويتطهر ما استطاع من طهر ويدهن من دهنه أو يمس من طيب بيته ثم يخرج فلا يفرق بين اثنين ثم يصلي ما كتب له ثم ينصت إذا تكلم الإمام إلا غفر له ما بينه وبين الجمعة الأخرى
Bukhari related it from Adam, from Ibn Abu Dhib, from Maqburi, from his father, from Ibn Wadia, from Salman, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, concerning the ghusl of Friday. He said, there is also disagreement over this narration from Ibn Abu Dhib.Ibn Ajlan related it from Saeed, from his father, from Ibn Wadia, from Abu Dharr. It was also said to be from Ubaydullah, from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah, as stated by Abdullah bin Raja. Darawardi related it from Ubaydullah, from Saeed, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Dahhak bin Uthman said it was from Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah. And Abu Mashar said it was from Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Wadia, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
The Hafiz, may Allah have mercy on him, said in the introduction to Fath al-Bari, vol. 2, p. 112, briefly, after mentioning the statement of Daraqutni, may Allah have mercy on him, "Bukhari also narrated it from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak, from Ibn Abu Dhib, with the same wording." (5)
