The verse of hijab was revealed concerning Zaynab bint Jahsh. On that day, bread and meat were served at her wedding feast. She used to boast over the other wives of the Prophet ﷺ, saying, "Allah married me to him in the heavens."
حدثنا خلاد بن يحيى حدثنا عيسى بن طهمان قال سمعت
نزلت آية الحجاب في زينب بنت جحش وأطعم عليها يومئذ خبزا ولحما وكانت تفخر على نساء النبي ﷺ وكانت تقول إن الله أنكحني في السماء
