Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Umm Hufayd bint Harith bin Hazn gave the Prophet ﷺ a gift of clarified butter, dried curd, and lizards. The Prophet ﷺ called for the lizards, and they were eaten at his table. The Prophet ﷺ himself left them, as though finding them distasteful. Had they been forbidden, they would not have been eaten at his table, nor would he have permitted them to be eaten.
