An Arabi came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "My wife has given birth to a black boy, and I refuse to acknowledge him as mine."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Do you have any camels?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet asked, "What are their colors?"He said, "Red."The Prophet asked, "Is there any dusky one among them?"He said, "Yes, there are dusky ones among them."The Prophet asked, "Where do you suppose that came from?"He said, "Messenger of Allah, perhaps it was inherited from a distant ancestor."The Prophet said, "And perhaps this child also inherited it from a distant ancestor."He did not grant him permission to disown the child.
حدثنا أصبغ بن الفرج حدثني ابن وهب عن يونس عن ابن شهاب عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن
أن أعرابيا أتى رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن امرأتي ولدت غلاما أسود وإني أنكرته فقال له رسول الله ﷺ هل لك من إبل قال نعم قال فما ألوانها قال حمر قال هل فيها من أورق قال إن فيها لورقا قال فأنى ترى ذلك جاءها قال يا رسول الله عرق نزعها قال ولعل هذا عرق نزعه ولم يرخص له في الانتفاء منه
