Ibn Abbas mentioned the Mutalaineen, and Abdullah bin Shaddad said, "Is she the one about whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Had I stoned any woman without clear evidence, I would have stoned her'?"Ibn Abbas replied, "No. That was a woman who openly displayed her misconduct."

ذكر ابن عباس المتلاعنين فقال عبد الله بن شداد هي التي قال رسول الله ﷺ لو كنت راجما امرأة عن غير بينة قال لا تلك امرأة أعلنت
