A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was seated and said, "Messenger of Allah, judge between us by the Book of Allah."Then his opponent stood up and said, "He has spoken the truth. Judge between us by the Book of Allah, Messenger of Allah. My son was a hired worker for this man and committed adultery with his wife. I was told that my son must be stoned, so I ransomed him with a hundred sheep and a slave girl. Then I asked the people of knowledge, and they told me that my son is to receive a hundred lashes and one year of banishment."The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, I shall judge between you by the Book of Allah. As for the sheep and the slave girl, they are returned to you. Your son is to receive a hundred lashes and one year of banishment. And as for you, Unays, go in the morning to this man's wife and stone her."So Unays went the next morning and stoned her.
حدثنا عاصم بن علي حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن عبيد الله
أن رجلا من الأعراب جاء إلى النبي ﷺ وهو جالس فقال يا رسول الله اقض بكتاب الله فقام خصمه فقال صدق اقض له يا رسول الله بكتاب الله إن ابني كان عسيفا على هذا فزنى بامرأته فأخبروني أن على ابني الرجم فافتديت بمائة من الغنم ووليدة ثم سألت أهل العلم فزعموا أن ما على ابني جلد مائة وتغريب عام فقال والذي نفسي بيده لأقضين بينكما بكتاب الله أما الغنم والوليدة فرد عليك وعلى ابنك جلد مائة وتغريب عام وأما أنت يا أنيس فاغد على امرأة هذا فارجمها فغدا أنيس فرجمها
