The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that for the unborn child of a woman from Banu Lihyan, who was miscarried dead, the compensation should be a male or female slave. Then the woman to whom the compensation had been awarded died, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance went to her sons and her husband, and that the blood-money was the responsibility of her paternal male relatives.
