Have they not been forbidden from making vows? The Prophet ﷺ said, "A vow neither hastens nor delays anything. It is only a means of extracting something from the miserly."
حدثنا يحيى بن صالح حدثنا فليح بن سليمان حدثنا سعيد بن الحارث أنه سمع
أولم ينهوا عن النذر إن النبي ﷺ قال إن النذر لا يقدم شيئا ولا يؤخر وإنما يستخرج بالنذر من البخيل
