The Prophet ﷺ used to teach us these words just as he would teach us writing, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from miserliness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, I seek refuge in You from being returned to the most feeble age of life, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of this world and the punishment of the grave."

كان النبي ﷺ يعلمنا هؤلاء الكلمات كما تعلم الكتابة اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البخل وأعوذ بك من الجبن وأعوذ بك من أن نرد إلى أرذل العمر وأعوذ بك من فتنة الدنيا وعذاب القبر
