A man asked permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Let him in. What a wretched member of his clan," or "What a wretched brother of his clan."But when the man entered, the Prophet ﷺ spoke to him gently. So I said to him, "Messenger of Allah, you said what you said, then you spoke gently to him?"He replied, "Ayesha, the worst of people in standing before Allah is the one whom people abandon," or "avoid, out of fear of his vulgarity."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا سفيان عن ابن المنكدر حدثه عن عروة بن الزبير أن
أنه استأذن على النبي ﷺ رجل فقال ائذنوا له فبئس ابن العشيرة أو بئس أخو العشيرة فلما دخل ألان له الكلام فقلت له يا رسول الله قلت ما قلت ثم ألنت له في القول فقال أي عائشة إن شر الناس منزلة عند الله من تركه أو ودعه الناس اتقاء فحشه
